We’re hiring a Vice president for our client, a leading research insights consultancy agency, for their office in Chicago. Their clients are a dynamic mix of global brands in categories such as packaged goods, pharma/health care, financial services, cannabis, beverage alcohol and gaming entertainment.

The agency uncovers what consumers believe by using sophisticated techniques grounded in social science and advanced statistics - discrete choice modelling, segmentation, prediction markets, product optimization, message modelling, design research, and psychoanalytics.

As a Vice President in Quantitative Research you will contribute to the success of the team by managing and implementing discrete choice modeling projects from inception to delivery.

About this role


  • Managing quantitative studies from start to finish, including questionnaire design and survey development, data analysis/synthesis, reporting and summarizing findings
  • Exercising a strong ability to run with several projects independently without direction
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Working with and managing third-party research vendors
  • Collaborating with other like-minded and talented colleagues
  • Authoring client-facing reports and recommendations
  • Pitching in on desk research/POVs using both primary and secondary sources

About you


  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree with 4-5 years of applicable research experience
  • Experience with quantitative research design and methodologies; discrete choice (mandatory), Bayesian approaches and conjoint analysis, etc
  • Must be capable of running with several projects independently
  • Proficient in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
  • Extremely detail-oriented and meticulous about numbers
  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects at once
  • Good personal time and project management
  • Curious about people
  • Good at storytelling
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and independently
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Will only consider those who have worked on the agency side
