About this role


  • Work in collaboration with and taking direction from Affiliate Records Management Coordinator, Manager Health & Safety and Records Retention Sponsors;
  • In all aspects of the job, ensure compliance with the global policy on Record Management, the Global Record Retention Schedule, Archiving at Iron Mountain (IM);
  • The primary responsibility is to work with department archivist and other department colleagues to pack up department records for storage at IM, ensuring proper IM indexing and descriptions;
  • Review existing documentation to ensure that it is properly indexed, review descriptions of archived documentation to ensure they are descriptive enough, retrieving and re-index boxes if necessary in collaboration with department owner;
  • Close the gaps on compliance findings;
  • Assist PRIM (Professional Records and Information Management) in working with department archivists to ensure that boxes with unclear or no description on IM connect/internal spreadsheet are updated (review IM connect database reports and identify areas where box descriptions need clarification);
  • Assist PRIM in updating organization of IM connect accounts;
  • Assist PRIM in setting up universal repository for all archived box information (define problem, identify solutions, assist in implementing solutions).

About you


  • Minimum 1 year University experience;
  • Strong communication (both oral and written) skills;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Self-directed;
  • Good project management skills.
