Project Manager

Our client is looking for a results driven individual to join the Bulk Manufacturing team as Project Manager.


  • Planning, execution and meeting project milestones within the required timeframes
  • Work with Bulk Manufacturing Leaders to develop and prioritize projects to integrate into the long range plan for Diphtheria/Tetanus and PPD Bulk manufacturing operations.
  • Assist in the project planning within Bulk to meet the short, medium and long term needs.
  • Provide Project Management expertise to oversee projects within the Antigen Manufacturing Platform.
  • Scope projects and timelines in conjunction with Bulk Leaders.
  • Provide oversight on Bulk Antigen Platform projects and collaborate with Site Engineering, Project Prioritization Committee (PPC) and other support functions such as QOVS, QOSA, and MTech, to plan project funding, resources and project execution phases.
  • Working with Site Engineering, provide manufacturing input to align and coordinate project execution within manufacturing plan and ensure all project objectives are met within defined timelines.
  • Provide project updates at Bulk Antigen Platform steering committees, operational meetings as required.
  • Identify and escalate risks and plans for mitigation to stakeholders.
  • Determine critical path to ensure project success.
  • Manage change control processes, quality documents and GMP deliverables for the project.
  • Track progression of Bulk Manufacturing project portfolio against plan and escalate roadblocks as required.
  • Coordinate activities within Bulk for site wide initiatives and commitments affecting all areas of Bulk Manufacturing operations.

About you


  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or other related discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years of project management experience in Biopharmaceutical and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP), other certifications (P.Eng.)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Autonomous, organized
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Trackwise, MS PowerPoint, MS Project
