About this role

Responsibilities

  • Support of maintenance planning function
  • Coordination of weekly and shutdown maintenance planning and scheduling of reactive and preventive work.
  • Plan /schedule maintenance shutdown activities, including any other function participating in the shutdown, such as Engineering, Utilities, Operations, etc.
  • In collaboration with end users, ensure availability of equipment and facilities for execution of reactive and preventive maintenance work.
  • In collaboration with end users, plan and schedule external resources required to perform maintenance work within both GxP and non-GxP areas.
  • Coordination of exceptions to the scheduled preventive maintenance work as required.
  • Follow up with end users and internal maintenance organisation both verbally and with metrics to ensure compliance and meeting of exceptions with regard to work.
  • Support planning and scheduling meetings for maintenance interventions.
  • Work with the Materials Coordinator to ensure availability of both stocked and non-stocked material to ensure execution of maintenance plans.
  • Utilization of the SAP maintenance planning module.
  • Create SAP reports to support the maintenance planning function.
  • Collaboratively work within established communication channels to ensure positive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Attend customer meetings to ensure communication of changes and receive feedback.
  • Signage of completed work orders by end users.
  • Provision of data and reports as requested for site management in response to questions and queries
  • Support the Reliability and Maintenance Engineering function.
  • Assist in the design of reliability and maintenance engineering processes in order to facilitate progressive maintenance management principles.
  • Continuous improvement and key performance reporting.
  • Manipulate and analyse data from theSAPsystem to develop and support reliability and/or business initiatives.
  • Health safety and environmental: Comply to and enforce to Health, safety, and environmental regulations as it relates to Maintenance Planning.
  • Participate in and enforce Heath, safety and environmental processes and training programs.

About you

Requirements

  • Three year community college or equivalent degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering program.
  • Maintenance Management Professional (MMP), Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.), Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.), Certified Technician (C.Tech.), or Professional Engineer (EIT / P.Eng.)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous related experience - maintenance planning in any kind of environment
  • Must be able to interact with the trades, and have an appreciation for the tools.
  • SAP - nice to have or some kind of CMMS experience is a must.
