About this role


  • Provide Administrative support to the Global Regulatory Affairs Head of Portfolio Strategy;
  • The position is necessary to achieve a high standard of quality in Global Regulatory Affairs with respect to organization, communication, document management, and team effectiveness;
  • Responsible for the management, organization and follow-up of TPSC meetings; Anticipates changes and rapidly adapts according the business needs;
  • Responsible for supporting administrative activities as assigned by the Global RA Head of Portfolio Strategy;
  • Contributes to the effectiveness by ensuring time management such as monitoring and updating schedules as required, arranging meeting requests, organizing teleconferences and videoconferences. Ensures adequate preparation is available (eg. agendas, pre-reads, presentations) prior to all meetings. Communicates matters of urgency acting with discretion on all issues;
  • Liaises with outside parties (consultants, etc.); and with other departments and external customers on behalf of GRA Head of Portfolio Strategy;
  • May coordinate all aspects of travel arrangements and plans;
  • Facilitates and co-ordinates meetings, including global meetings, as required (alone or in co-ordination with admin support from other departments and sites);
  • May be responsible for expense reporting, monitoring of budgets;
  • Manages projects as authorized. Prepares reports and presentations by collecting and assembling information, as well as prepares agendas, meeting minutes, letters and e-mails.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently;
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member on a diverse range of tasks. Requires excellent communication and organizational skills both locally and globally;
  • Being proactive to ensure adequate preparation of meetings and travel;
  • Continuous follow-up with staff members in Regulatory Affairs for reporting, and action items;
  • Attentive to GRA Head of Portfolio Strategy daily calendar and scheduling of meetings;
  • Provides accurate feedback and timely turnaround of activities;
  • Ability to maintain a professional image under any challenging situation;
  • Ability to effectively manage several tasks and priorities simultaneously in a busy environment;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and assist in creating a climate of trust;
  • Balanced judgment and excellent communication/organization skills required when dealing with top level management;
  • Strives to ensure a smooth-running working environment;
  • Strives for compliance to ensure Sanofi internal standards and regulatory requirements are met;
  • HS&E Works within the policies, procedures and regulations as required by the Company and under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
