About this role

Job Purpose

  • Provides administrative related functions for the SHES department including maintenance of databases and tracking registers;
  • Organisation of all SHES related documents, procedures, files, training material, booklets etc;
  • Compilation of weekly SHES reports including man-power reports, KPI reports, meeting slide presentations;
  • Maintenance of PMT related SHES information such as training, vehicles, PPE. Support arrangements and coordination of SHES training;
  • Arrangement of SHES meetings including minutes of meeting, attendance records, formal issuance;
  • Assist in preparing organisation charts, job descriptions, manpower requisitions etc.

  • Timely completion of administrative functions;
  • Organisation of all SHES related documentation for the SHES department.

  • Utilizes a systematic approach to problem solving that ensures accuracy, timeliness and quality of documentation in resolution;
  • Manages complex tasks to completion within time constrains of Project, with minimal guidance from more experienced staff;
  • Manages the resolution of problems in more demanding and less familiar situations using precedent and own acquired knowledge;

Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:

  • Makes decisions and solves problems related to a specific discipline/field;
  • Establishes credibility with peers, sub-ordinates and supervisors;
  • Exercises judgment in making decisions; knows when to seek advice;
  • Understands organizational authority and seeks appropriate line management approvals.

About you

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or similar with;
  • Formal audit qualification;

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • Minimum of five (5+) years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry in SHES field or in lieu of an IGC, minimum of ten (10+) years of experience in SHES field;
  • Experience in major Construction Projects (including brown-field work) with total capital expenditure >USD$1G;
  • Experience in RLIC and COMPANY Projects will be added advantage

Technical and Business Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to review and comment on technical documents

Good interpersonal skills

Contract Duration: Contract Hire with possible extension
