About this role

In this role, you’ll be liaison for communication within the Owner project team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing a wide range of activities as well providing input to estimates, proposals, scheduling and resource planning. You’ll be communicating the structural design to the EPC vendor and other disciplines, and monitoring subcontracted technical service activities.

You’ll be the main point of contact for the EPC contractor – reviewing structural specifications and other design documents. You’ll provide feedback on these, as well as evaluating vendor bids and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.

It’s not all office based of course. You will also be participating in factory and site inspections as the project progresses, prior to construction

About you

Your fabrication experience of topsides steelwork will be essential, as will your familiarity with national design codes (IBC, ACI, ASCE, AISC) and modular constructions. Your experience on module ocean transportation will contribute to the success of these project.

You have:

  • Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • At least 10+ years of experience in structural steel

Any experience as an Owner engineer is desirable (so include on-site experience, or any project team experience, in your resume).
