About this role

As a Risk Analyst at one of the World’s leading oil & gas industry operator companies, you will be providing information management support to on a day-today basis. You know how to create and manage information procedures and policies to minimize risk. And because you are the type of person who wants to know your procedures are watertight, you will set up control testing programs, and recommend improvement actions. You will need to have some experience. And be persuasive – not everyone understands why keeping data secure is so important, but you can inform and guide those around you;

This position is full time Monday- Friday at $55/hr;

Relocation costs is not provided for this role;

Duties:

  • Handling the Information Risk Management (IRM) and Data Privacy Program requirements and identifying actions to be taken to complete the program requirements, e.g. performing application user access reviews;
  • Creating documentation / evidence that actions were completed and submit for review;
  • Creating or updating desk guide documentation and workflow diagrams pertaining to the program or work processes;
  • Suggesting improvements or changes to the IRM program;
  • Administering and providing guidance on the department’s Record Retention program;
  • Leading effort to migrate electronic company records to Microsoft SharePoint;
  • Leading effort to update department’s internal website library;
  • Assisting with quarterly reporting on the IRM and Data Privacy program;
  • Assisting with creating or preparing data for presentation content (graphs, content) on various compliance subject topics as requested for senior management;
  • Assisting with creating or updating compliance process documentation.

About you

Required:

  • 8-10 years of experience;
  • Experience handling confidential and classified company information for a company with global operations;
  • Familiar with data privacy and information risk management standards;
  • Experience working with technology and technological solutions for documentation;
  • Leading or a key role on a significant project involving information management and desk guide development;

Your Skills:

  • Familiar with data privacy and information risk management standards;
  • Experience developing work process procedures and documentation;
  • Advance MS Excel skills, assist with data analytics;
  • Experience with MS Access or Power BI.
