About this role

In this role you will be establishing strategic objectives that set out the quality requirements across a portfolio of projects. You will thrive in this environment if you are able to understand complicated client requirements and deliver best practice solutions. You’ll find the best option by looking at both internal and external quality requirements to determine what process best fit the needs of project.

High-quality customer communication is essential for explaining processes and to deliver solutions successfully. Your negotiation skills will serve you well when you and the client confirm the details of the project quality requirements. You’ll make best efforts to deliver customer satisfaction and deliver on company goals.

Your duties:

  • Participating in establishing global contract quality requirements and ensuring compliance, consulting with interdepartments to deliver the best solutions
  • Representing regional perspectives in global workgroups to drive continuous improvement that result in efficient/leaner processes
  • Analyzing the effects of organizational changes and/or project deliverables refining processes, methods, or reports accordingly
  • Reviewing contractual, regulatory, technical risks and develops tools/processes to mitigate those risks
  • Analyzing trends or deviations from standards and implementing creative cross-functional solutions
  • Leading global alignment initiatives for project quality, identifying corresponding implementation plans and facilitates deployment
  • Leading internal and customer audits and proposing corrective actions
  • Training Quality Engineers, project management and operator personnel, in quality processes and Customer Quality Requirements

About you


  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience

Highly Desirable:

  • Master’s degree
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and associated documentation processes
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred

Your Skills:

Your role has a supervisory aspect. You will be leading project teams, leading department initiatives, and enforcing deadlines. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence others. Your ability to communicate confidently at all levels is vital. Your managerial and assessment skills will be necessary to deliver empowering performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to project members.

  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with focus on completion, to a high level of performance
  • Team-oriented, with excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Expert knowledge of company core quality processes and organizational quality goals with ability to lead a team delivering best-practice solutions to complex problems
  • Experience with and knowledge of industry/regulatory standards, customer
  • Working understanding of core manufacturing processes such as: forging, fabrication, machining, coating and welding
  • Using systemic thinking and understanding of broader organizational implications to drive creative and unique solutions
