About this role

The Naval Architect is the beating heart of any offshore project.

You have that rare mix of creativity and a logical mind, needed to translate high-level functional requirements into practical, conceptual process designs.

As well as a deep understanding of engineering principles, you can apply a common-sense approach to perform in-depth evaluations on external technologies.

Projects of this calibre require strong teamwork, but you can manage often-conflicting demands to produce effective solutions.

About you

These are big projects with solid deliverables and in-time delivery is essential.

This is not unchartered waters for you though.

You have handled projects like these many times before and you have the qualifications to back it up, such as an MSc or BSc degree in Naval Architecture and at least 5 years’ experience.

An entrepreneurial spirit runs through everything you do and you can identify and create opportunities then understand how to translate this into interactions with clients and generate business.

In-depth experience and sound technical knowledge of Naval Architecture in both conceptual and detailed design will be key to your success in this job, and you have a good grasp of interface knowledge with related disciplines.

You love what you do and it shows in your work. You get satisfaction by achieving objectives with your team and realise that in the end, it is all about the finished product.

What we offer

Work-life balance is important, so you will benefit from flexible working hours and an 8% holiday allowance.
