About this role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the mechanical scope of international olefins, refinery or petrochemical projects, with a focus on HDPE engineering. You’ll be coordinating with other disciplines as you gather and interpret engineering data for the development of project design.

Your team will be preparing specific materials, calculations, datasheets and drawings, technical requirements and requisitions, plus project reference manuals. You’ll be familiar with estimating man hours, forecasting and contributing to the development of the project schedule, so you’ll need technical expertise as well as project experience to ensure mechanical deliverables are on schedule.

And you’ll be ensuring compliance – to government regulations, to engineering codes and standards, as well as internal quality assurance policies and procedures.

About you

You are already identifying scope changes, and resolving deviations, and providing engineering support for technical questions for HDPE engineering.

If you have experience developing and reviewing vendor technical submissions, preparing inspection lists, and schedules for vendor documents, then you’ll have the experience we’re seeking.

You have:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience and at least 4 years in HDPE projects
  • At least 2 years directly leading engineers

If you already have your Professional Engineering License, that’s a plus.
