About this role

Because in this role every day brings a new challenge and you will have plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty.

You will employ your skills and expertise to perform hydrodynamics and mooring leg calculations in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Keeping within the project schedule, you will deliver results including station keeping, global performance analyses and interface loads to the project team.

You may even have the opportunity to be assigned as a Package Engineer with full technical responsibility and control for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package.

This is a collaboration, so you will need the support of Engineers and Designers within and outside your remit to achieve deliverables.

You will also analyse size and specify the anchoring system components in a way that ensures the efficient and profitable delivery of high quality engineering that meets the company’s requirements.

Communication will be the key to your success, as you must make sure to raise awareness of any issues to the Discipline Lead.

As well as providing status updates, you will highlight any concerns as they arise and prioritize activities to meet key project milestones.

You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team but it is important that you can also stand your ground.

You are encouraged to respectfully challenge any proposed changes that could significantly impact any project deliverables to ensure the best way forward.

About you

You are a team player who loves collaboration and can hold your own in a diverse and multi-skilled group.

Confident in your abilities, you can lean on a strong background in offshore projects, with around five years’ experience working on FPSO’s, moorings or buoy’s.

As well as a proficiency in programs such as Orcaflex and Ariane.
