Our client, a major Oil & Gas Operator in Melbourne is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage exploration accounting activities and Financial Reporting for Papua New Guinea
(PNG) Operations. Provide support for PNG accounting
and financial reporting.

About this role

  • Monitor and manage the
    Accounting for EMOP & OBO Exploration activities.
  • Monthly preparation of
    Financial Reporting data.
  • Provide Controllers support
    to Exploration business line.
  • Act as a liaison between the
    Exploration business line and Controllers.
  • Review JV Expenditure
    Statements prepared by BKK CAS Joint Interest Accounting.
  • Co-ordinate Controllers input
    to Exploration Planning & Budgeting (P&B).
  • Support preparation of local
    statutory financial statements.

About you

  • CPA qualified or working towards qualification;
  • GAAP analytical skills;
  • Previous accounting experience within Oil and Gas operator environment;
  • Advanced MS Excel;
  • Demonstrated Financial systems experience.
