About this role

As a Document Controller with experience on a large, or multiple, projects, you are comfortable working with high volumes of documents in all formats. You have processes set up to track, input, retrieve and record multiple requests for information. Handling documents on a daily basis – and auditing for compliance and signatures – means you can spot any piece out of place.

You ensure contractor and supplier documentation deliverables meet contract requirements, and will satisfy project information management needs. You report what’s overdue, what’s completed and what’s around the corner. You anticipate information management needs, and train those around you to use the systems you create efficiently, in accordance with the overall information management plan and through routine interaction with Project Teams.

About You

Must haves

  • Working knowledge of Information Management requirements across all project phases, for a multi-disciplinary team (plus proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems, Document Control IT tools, databases and administrative procedures);
  • Accuracy to high standards on process and detail;
  • The drive to explain, train and ensure procedures, standards and requirements are adhered to by all


  • 5+ years industry working experience in areas of operations and/or project technical support;
  • University degree in a technical discipline;
  • Experience preparing training materials and conducting document control training workshops;
  • Experience managing day-to-day operating procedures of document systems for engineering and technical groups and, additionally, supporting large capital projects
