About this role

  • Setting up shelving and physical bin locations;
  • Setting up Physical laydown yard;
  • Coordinates/sectors in the various client managed warehouse locations;
  • Process newly arriving material shipments by verifying the physical materials jointly with the delivery drivers against pack slips/bills of lading;
  • Confirmed received quantities and assigning the new warehouse/location codes of each of the items on the packlists/bills of lading;
  • Securing the delivery drivers’ signatures on these documents, and handing over these original signed off receiving documents to the field materials manager for processing of the receivers into the Matman system;
  • Physically moving the items from the receiving unload location to the associated laydown yard or whse bin/shelf locations;
  • Coordinate any deliveries directly to the installation contractors.

About you

  • High school degree or equivalent;
  • Able to pass drug test/background check;
  • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift;
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory;
  • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently;
  • Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.

This role will work closely with the project’s field materials manager, the field logistics personnel, the field installation contractors’ material leads, and the suppliers’ material delivery and material pickup drivers.
