About this role

Responsibilities

  • Providing highest technical and process expertise in area of maintenance, technical incidents and requests, trouble-shooting and process knowledge for client’s “technology”
  • Expertise support for Spare Parts Operations, Solution sales, Projects and other internal stake holders (in technology and equipment know-how, start-up, training and O&M)
  • Driving technical support workflow/ticketing system implementation/use in Market Area
  • Ensures that tickets, service request are systematically routed to workflow system and contain sufficient information for further processing as well as that tickets are followed up in Market area.
  • Ensure systematic information processing (e.g. RCA) each case/incident
  • Act as a main trainer for internal/external technical trainings, including certification program.
  • Participation in technical claim handling (when applicable)
  • Lead advanced trouble shooting and creation of related instructions
  • Product trials and development support: Point of contact for client and lead client’s team to ensure all elements of trials are managed and recorded correctly
  • Leading severe incident investigations in Market Area
  • Ensure proper fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of client and the customer; perform safety inspection at workplace prior to start the job, elaborate job safety analysis (JSA) for a specific job at site, correct usage of PPE, report any unsafe condition at site.
  • Active and close collaboration with global technology support team
  • Ensuring knowledge transfer by contributing to resolution data in knowledge data base as well as creation of Knowledge Articles

About you

Requirements & Competencies

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Previous hands-on experience in mineral processing
  • Passionate about leading for safety
  • Excellent technical knowledge of the operation and control of:
    • AG / SAG / Ball / Rod Mill Technology
    • Mineral Processing/Concentrator Plant Processes
  • Driven to complete tasks
  • Understanding of Technology, Operations and Maintenance in mining capacities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of lifecycle sales and projects
  • Able to work independently
  • Service focused
  • Gold/Platinum Certification
