About this role

This critical role is suited to someone who is keen to make a difference and work for a globally recognized mining company. Working a Monday - Friday roster and reporting to the Director - Recruitment Atlantic, you will be:

  • Managing a diverse team of Recruitment Partners based in various geographic locations to achieve a set of objectives whilst developing the performance of the team in line with Rio Tinto’s company values;
  • Working with virtual teams to develop sourcing strategies focused on meeting business needs and requirements;
  • Engaging with other human resource areas and line leadership in Rio Tinto to understand and anticipate emerging talent need and opportunities;
  • Working with your stakeholders to provide guidance on the recruitment process and influence outcomes;
  • Acting as a key facilitator to resolve complex issues and identify appropriate mitigation strategies.

About you

  • University degree in HR, Labor relations or relevant fields;
  • significant experience in a traditional end-to-end recruitment service delivery function;
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in leading a team of high performing Recruitment professionals based in different geographic locations;
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills with the ability to influence decisions at a high level;
  • Business fluency in both English and French languages.
