About this role

As Account Manager, you will be reporting to the Sales Manager (Southeast). You'll be operating as an expert selling all the company product lines. A major part of your role will be to align the company products and services with customer needs. You'll need to understand what the company can offer, and be able to identify the ways these offerings can solve customer problems.

Other duties will include:

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external customers to successfully meet objectives and add value for customers
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE Performance Standards
  • Develop leads and pursue new customers according to the targeted account plan in order to maintain and expand current product sales and local market share
  • Effectively influence the actions and opinions of others; accept feedback from others
  • Understand and enhance service requirements to continually improve customer profitability

You'll need to be persistent, finding new business and getting through to decision-makers, using your investigative and networking skills. You'll be able to walk in our customer's shoes, able to understand their issues and challenges. And you'll be persuasive, able to make a compelling argument for how these products and services solve those problems.

About you

Education & Experience

A Bachelor degree or additional directly related work experience may be substituted for all of the educational requirements.

  • Minimum 5 years working experience with progressively increasing professional responsibility with leading edge technology to achieve financial results for company and blast performance for customers
  • Must satisfy the requirements for a "Possessor of Explosives" as defined by the Bureau of Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
  • Acquire and maintain all appropriate licenses and certifications required by federal, state and county entities (e.g. blaster licenses).
  • Current MSHA certification for Part 46 and 48.
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Salesforce)
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player
