About this role

Duties:

  • Work with designers and content producers
  • Write, modify, and debug software for server applications
  • Write code to create multi-threaded, networked server applications
  • Use source debuggers, program dumps, and performance monitoring tools
  • Test and document software for server applications

You may have to liaise between users and computer software vendors. You’ll thrive in this if you are able to communicate facts and data to users in non-technical terms.

You must make all software modifications as requested by their clients or employers and test all software to ensure that it works properly.

About you

Required:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years in software development/engineering including software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
  • Familiar with programming languages such as Java and C++

Your Previous Experience:

  • Extensive experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Java) design and coding
  • Experience developing in an Android or iOS environment
  • Solid experience in user interface (UI) development
  • Experience with rendering and signal processing using one of the following: OpenGL, DirectX, Metal, Vulkan or equivalent
  • Knowledge in AI tool kits (i.e Tensor flow)

Highly Desirable:

  • Familiarity with embedded system development
  • Familiarity with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of visualization toolkit (VTK) and kitware

Your Skills:

  • Able to ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently with little to no supervision as well as in a team environment, and multitasking and close attention to detail are essential in this position
