About this role

In this Software Developer role, you’ll be working for a world leader in medical devices, based in Murraysville, PA.

Your skills as an automated test engineer will contribute to the success of the project teams designing and developing stand-alone medical device software. You’ll be working with system level, multi-disciplined engineering projects, and this role is a great opportunity to learn new technologies and gain expertise in system architectures.

Main responsibilities

  • Writing detailed automated test procedures to evaluate medical devices and systems against documented mechanical, electrical and/or software requirements
  • Analyzing product and sub-system requirements
  • Analyzing and verifying medical device designs
  • Conducting statistical analysis of test results and developing test reports
  • Maintaining and controlling test execution records using good lab practices

For this role you will be working independently as a member of a distributed scrum team. There are flexible ways of working (team, pair programming, solo, remote, working with others who are remote) and the infrastructure to support your choices.

About you

Please note that an Associate Degree with at least 4 years of experience writing code, or a Bachelors Degree (Engineering, Computer, or other Science discipline) with at least 1 year of experience is required for this position.

C# or Java experience in writing code is required for this role.

Experience as detailed below is highly desirable:

  • Cloud Foundry, Nodejs, Spring, Protractor, Selenium, BDD/TDD, Linux, BASH scripting, Angularjs, nUnit, jUnit, Cucumber, SpecFlow, CodedUI
  • Experience using Javascript, Gradle, Team City, and/or Git
  • Software development using ISO 62304
  • Experience testing on IOS and Android operating systems
  • Experience in regulated industries, including experience of FDA’s 21 CFR 820
