About this role

As an Electronics Technician, your role revolves around conducting complex technical functions for electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems. You’ll be reading and interpreting electrical schematics. You’ll be performing component-level device removal, component soldering, and electronic repair, while maintaining a clean and tidy lab.

There’s lots of variety to keep you engaged, with tasks ranging from set up and operation, through maintenance and modification of products. You’ll be focused on circuit testing and troubleshooting, and will use your problem-solving and communication skills to develop and document test procedures. You’ll be using various electronic test equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes and power supplies to identify and resolve issues to the Company’s detailed standards.

In addition to maintaining written documentation and reports, you’ll be liaising with the engineering and management teams. About you

For this role:-

  1. You’ll have an Associates or Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline.
  2. You’ll need a minimum of 5 years of technical experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
  3. You’ll have proven experience documenting and organizing test data and lab notes.
  4. You’ll also have proven experience of conducting root cause analysis of electronics and electro-mechanical systems to component level.

Our ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience with SAP, Trackwise, or similar databases
  • Experience in a medical or highly regulated environment
  • Familiarity with 5S and Continuous Improvement workplaces
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
