About this role

As the Electrical Engineer will need solid previous experience with electronics design, testing, and design controls to give you the background for the innovation team. This position offers you the opportunity to truly create in New Product Development and Product Sustaining Engineering. You’ll be in charge of your own assigned project and oversee any changes completed by operators and technicians.


  • Support R&D development projects for console electronics components, interfaces and systems;
  • Conceptualize, design, develop and sustain high-speed, mixed-signal, data acquisition and embedded electronics;
  • Lead, generate and conduct formal verification and validation plans for completed designs;
  • Specify and qualify appropriate components, equipment, and design tools based on documented analysis of design specifications, costs, availability and reliability;
  • Work on our consoles electronic components, interfaces and systems used in coronary vascular and peripheral vascular applications.

Throughout this project you will communicate with managers to maintain quality standards and industry standards. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to refine design requirements. You’ll liaison with other engineers to share best practices that will raise the company to higher standards.

About you


  • BSEE- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering;
  • 3+ years of formal system test experience;
  • 5+ years' experience in design, development and testing mixed signal electronics;
  • Experience using circuit simulation software, schematic capture software, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzer, emulators;
  • Experience with EMC, ESD, and signal integrity testing to international standards;
  • Experience using ECO release process and document management/PLM systems;
  • Experience with high-speed communication interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe bus, USB, SPI, I2C, and RS232.

Highly Desirable:

  • MS/PhD preferred (ideally in Electrical Engineering);
  • Familiarity with Matlab, MiniTab, OrCad, Cadence and circuit simulation and analysis software (PSpice, Multisim);
  • Experience applying IEC 60601-1 and related medical device electronics standards.

Your Skills:

There’s a lot of technical expertise required for this role. The ability to communicate well, and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships is also essential.

  • Familiarity with medical systems, procedures, and terminology;
  • Industry experience creating detailed design documentation (specifications, design descriptions, verification and testing plans);
