As a Medical Advisor Pediatric Vaccines, you will join the Medical Affairs team. Together with your team, you will advance patient care by sharing scientific expertise to external medical experts and industry leaders about the products our client is developing. You will connect, communicate about and train internal staff to ensure a thorough understanding of the science behind the drug. As a supportive Medical Advisor, you will be responsible for working with state of the art vaccines from the client.
First things first: What can you expect within your scope of duties?
- Support in writing procurement dossiers for pediatric vaccines by providing the latest relevant medical and scientific updates.- Liaise with RDMA to address data errors and seek advice- Understand vaccine positioning and provide medical strategic input to commercial, clinical and regulatory stakeholders.
- Reviewing dossiers for scientific accuracy. - Conduct non-commercial scientific exchange with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and relevant data as needed.- You will be responsible for the collection, comparison and analysis of a selection of stakeholders to identify unmet needs and data gaps and to provide medical strategic input to commercial, clinical and regulatory stakeholders.- You will also co-direct the development of the local Medical Affairs Plan (MAP) and help establish strategic tactics and activities for 2023.
- Follow up on studies initiated by researchers and generate data from studies in the company.- Collaborate with the local Global Clinical Trial Operations management and researchers.
What you need to bring:
What do we expect from you?
- You are in possession of a master degree, Doctor of Pharmacy or PhD in Life Sciences- Analytical and communicative attitude- Strong scientific knowledge of vaccines (preferably pediatric)
- Experience in preparing and writing reimbursement and procurement files- Experience as a medical advisor or medical affairs manager- Solid scientific and clinical judgment, understanding of clinical research methods, implementation and interpretation of clinical data- Perseverance and level-headedness
- Strong leadership skills: a proactive 'can do' attitude and hands-on mentality, always eager to continue learning- Strong customer focus, listening and persuasion skills- Analytical skills, meticulous and have an eye for detail- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- Compliance and quality mindset - in line with the company their Ethics and Integrity standards- Strong and confident presentation and communication skills- Excellent communication skills- Ability to function within a diverse team environment, act action-oriented as a matrix networker across departments and company cultures
- Strong oral and written knowledge in English, French and Dutch
