About this role

These roles require some experience but if you recently achieved your NCCCO, get in touch. We can provide the opportunities you need to accelerate your career.

Basic Crane Operator Duties:-

  • Safe crane set-up, proper load securement, pre-operation inspection
  • Review of rigging work, prior to lifting
  • Checking weights and dimensions of the load to ensure full understanding for safe transportation
  • Completion of all paperwork, including Field Level Risk, logging completed jobs accurately

You’ll be working independently, after instruction from the Project/Operations Manager. You’ll arrive at customer sites on schedule, with an understanding of the job requirements ahead of time.

More experienced crane operators will provide mentorship and training on appropriate pre and post job requirements. to apprentices

About you

Crane transporting is a non-stop job, with 365-day operations in all weathers. It takes commitment and diligence to do the job well. You need to be safety conscious at all times, for yourself, those around you, and your load.

Must haves:

  • Proof of NCCCO with TLL, LBC endorsement

Preferred experience:-

  • Oilfield, rig and pipe moving experience highly desirable
