About this role

Purpose:As the UX Information Architect, you are the tip of the
sword in defining and organizing new high-tech applications and solutions so
that their functionality fulfils the needs of the user. You are responsible for
the looks, the feels and the workflow of high-tech applications and solutions
for the analytical, semiconductor, medical and agro & food industry.
These high-tech applications and solutions will always
revolve around technical software, often to be combined or integrated with
state-of-the art hardware equipment.Working at Sioux China means working together with a

play a key role in Sioux China’s development center. You will be working in an

Major
Challenges:
Your mission starts with the “why” of a project. This
implies close cooperation with the user and various stakeholders to define their
needs and requirements.
Next, you will work directly with the user to ensure
consistency and continuity in project design and execution. You are responsible
for solution design and development, including layout, navigation, and flow, as
well as developing IA documentation (site maps, navigation models, content
models, wire frames).Your projects will either be solely software-based
projects or software integrated into high-tech
hardware such as Semi-Electron Scanning Microscopes,
optical microscopes and the likes.The applications that you will work on initially are
focused on implementing intelligence into analytical equipment. This implies
applications that are driven by intelligent and automated image analysis that up
until now could only be accomplished by human experts.

Principal
Accountabilities:
1) User Research: Through interviews with the customer
and various stakeholders, to identify the needs and the requirements of the customer;
2) Close collaboration with the UI design team which use
your work as their input;3) Determining hierarchies of information and content
flow, including the delivery of taxonomies
and sitemaps/application maps;4) Wireframe creation;
5) Navigation design and labelling;6) Design integration and concept testing together with
the development team and the customer.

About you

Job Requirements and Qualifications:1) Education and knowledge:
- Master degree, preferably in fields of technology or
engineering- Programming skills are a plus
2) Experience:- At least 5 years of experience in the field of
Information Architecture or UX design for
high-tech enterprises with experience in application
development for equipment- Working experience for an international company
3) Language proficiencies:- Mandarin Chinese: By preference native speaker
- English: Working proficiency in spoken and written
English4) Travel frequency:
- Frequent traveling to visit customers, mainly
domestic.5) Competencies and skills:
- Experience in communicating with customers and other
stakeholders- Excellent presentation and documentation skills
- Strong requirement engineering capabilities and the
ability to develop solution withinthe project’s constraint (time, budget, manpower, …)
- Initiative, commitment and self-motivation- Strong collaboration skills and a good team player
