About this role

  • Work collaboratively across cross-functional organizations to automate and streamline operations and processes for Engineering, QA, testing, performance, etc;
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement automation to enable teams to build and deploy autonomously;
  • Develop reliable, modular, reusable tooling that easily deploys our software on on-premises and cloud platforms;
  • Maintain and extend our comprehensive testing infrastructure centered around Jenkins ???;
  • Build and maintain configuration tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations to support our internal infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Ansible AWX, Terraform, and GitLab.Puppet and Chef;
  • Build, deploy and maintain a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service offering;
  • Work within a complex and rapidly evolving AWS environment.

About you

  • 7+ plus years of Engineering experience;
  • Fluency in Python;
  • Experience with other programming or scripting language, such as Ruby, Bash, or Go a plus;
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins and GitLab;
  • Containerization technologies such as Docker and AWS ECS;
  • Creating, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure with tools such as Ansible, Ansible AWX, Terraform, or equivalents;
  • Build, deploy, and release engineering;
  • Cloud Foundry PaaS a plus;
  • Engineering communications with 3rd party REST APIs, such as Cloud Foundry or Ansible Tower;
  • Familiarity with YAML and JSON syntax is beneficial;
  • Managing encrypted secrets via Hashicorp Vault, Git-Crypt, or similar systems is a plus;
  • Proficiency in operating Java stacks a plus;
  • Experience deploying applications under a Linux and Windows environments.
