About this role

Based in Stockdorf, you will be designing, creating and testing gear products for a world leader in automotive design.

Utilising your in-depth knowledge and expertise in plastic part design (draft, shrinkage, etc.) as well as in plastic material selection, especially tribological plastic resins.

Aside from this, you will also develop single cavity and multi-cavity gear solutions, leveraging cold and hot runner technology.

Not to mention, employing your strong statistical knowledge to design and execute DOE, Gage R&R and perform capability analysis.

You will also leverage decouple molding practices using the injection molding process, as well as using examples to model simple prismatic and rotational shapes from scratch.

As well as creating assembly drawings, providing custom isometric views and applying BOM balloons to components.

About you

You’ll need a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position, as well as a bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering.

You’re also adept at using CATIA V5 software to develop solid 3D models.

Furthermore, you’re an expert at CAD data manipulation. Always following the proper protocol for checking items in and out.

Most importantly, you have a deep proficiency in using KISSsoft, KISSsys FVA or similar software products during gearbox design.

As well as being experienced in performing analytical gear measurements and double flank testing.

What we offer

This is a permanent position with a salary up to €85k gross, depending on experience.
