  • You are responsible for the technical analysis, specification, documentation, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of terminal server systems, applications and related tools
  • In your position as a system engineer, you manage the continual security, support and optimization of server based computing systems involved in the company wide use
  • You manage the planning, coordination, assistance and documentation of terminal servers and rollout scenarios based on the current corporate standards
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for the training and education of global IT service units regarding the implementations of terminal servers, applications and the Citrix management platform
  • Your tasks include global 3rd level support/troubleshooting for the IT service units within the ASP area, sometimes also end user support
  • You prepare the application distribution to the ASP platform and support and troubleshoot the infrastructure systems related to the ASP systems
  • With your expertise you test and evaluate new hard- and software products inside the ASP area and also develop and integrate tools for the company ASP platform management
  • As a system engineer, you are a member of the global AMS team

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or a comparable degree
  • Work experience in the field
  • Good knowledge of Citrix and Microsoft products, e.g. XenApp/XenDesktop/Windows Terminal
  • High degree of specialized technical knowledge in a broad range of sub-fields, such as operating systems and security
  • Thorough knowledge of theory, analysis and application of computers systems, servers, networks and emerging computer technologies
  • Capability to evaluate new products quickly and in-depth
  • Presentation skills, customer focus, excellent communication skills, team player
  • Fluent English skills
