About this role:

Are you looking for a sales position where you can run your territory independently, spend time getting to know your clients and grow your accounts to meet steadily growing targets? In this role you’ll be joining the Permian Account Management Team of a fast-growing chemicals company servicing upstream, midstream and downstream sectors.

This is a permanent role serving clients and sites in the Permian Area (Midland, Carlsbad, Odessa and surrounding). You’ll benefit from a competitive base salary and generous bonus structure, with monthly vehicle stipend, gas card and paid mileage.

This role is actively hiring.

Your primary focus will be building relationships – supporting clients, understanding their problems and finding solutions that deliver on their goals.

As the client’s trusted advisor, you’ll use a consultative sales approach. You’ll stay close post-sale, as solutions are delivered, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and to grow the account further.

Your priorities

  • Maintaining and growing existing client relationships, generating new business and strategies for increasing sales and revenue
  • Acting as the first point of contact to handle customer needs and solve problems
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

You’ll need to keep up with trends, changes, and competitor actions that might affect your clients.

You’ll track your own work and provide regular progress reports to both your clients and upper management of the Permian Team.

You will be travelling most days to visit clients, and working from home when not on site.

You’ll have a self-motivated, hands-on proactive style, able to manage multiple client account at a time. You’ll have excellent listening and negotiation skills, with compelling presentation abilities and an eye for detail.

What you need to bring:

Required:

  • Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of proven sales experience in oil and gas sectors
