About this role

As an Account Manager you will be reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be the expert in providing account leadership and technical support while communicating and coordinating with regional management, customer service, operations, and technical personnel. You will be part of a dynamic team who drives the assigned customer accounts focusing on sales and business growth.

  • Provide accurate forecasting for customers in the area of responsibility in order to assist operations, supply chain, and manufacturing in meeting overall product demand planning objectives;
  • Work to achieve high levels of positive working relationships with customers to optimize sales of DNA products and services;
  • Represent DN at trade shows and arrange product demonstrations in order to build a customer base;
  • Observe industry and competitor activities in order to find areas for expansion and improvement of DN’s products and services;
  • Develop leads and pursue new customers in order to maintain and expand current product sales;
  • Ability to uncover and understand customer needs and align DNNA products and service to meet those needs;
  • Effectively influence the actions and opinions of others; accept feedback from others;
  • Understand and enhance service requirements to continually improve customer profitability;
  • Contribute to achieving budgeted customer profitability as measured by EBIT, EBITA, EBITDA;
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSEQ Performance Standards;
  • Proactively work to achieve compliance with safety systems;
  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation and professionalism;
  • Identify, recommend, and implement initiatives to reduce the overall cost of doing business;
  • Perform other tasks as required to achieve the overall safety, profitability and business goals of the organization.

About you

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the area of responsibility (or comparable experience and training), education and experience, preferably in Mining, Geo-technical, Mineral, and/or Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering. Advanced Degree in Geo-technical, Civil Engineering, Computer Sciences a plus;
  • Experience: 2-5 years in explosives, construction, stone or mining industry. Drilling and blasting, distribution, job estimating, product sale and service sales preferred;
  • Technical: General knowledge/understanding of blasting including drilling, regulatory, safety project management, pricing, and contracts. Computer literacy. Blast optimization and misfire investigation;
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player.

SALARY:

  • Based on Experience ($90,000-$100,000 Annually);
  • As an Account Manager, this role allows you to live anywhere in the state of Oregon.
