About this role: Subsea Wells Representative (FIFO)

On behalf of our client, a High Profile Global Oil & Gas Energy Group, Brunel is presently recruiting a Subsea Wells Representative to support Offshore Operations on an Intervention vessel. Contract requirement to commence in February 2023 for approximate 6 months duration, 2:2 FIFO roster.

  • Participate in Intervention Vessel and equipment inspections and corrective action follow-up in conjunction with our specialist inspection contractor
  • Support Intervention Equipment and Controls System Integrity and Wet Tests
  • Works with Vessel Authority in completing Intervention Vessel assurance processes
  • Intervention Team to ensure that all Operational Readiness and Commencement Date milestones are in place
  • Monitor Intervention Operations ensuring approved Procedures and Contingencies are executed in a manner to deliver safe well intervention activities in compliance with GS2 De-suspension General Execution Procedure
  • Ensure that MOC and Risk Assessment processes are followed
  • Checks, validates and monitors the work being performed by the contractor to ensure compliance with design, processes and procedures
  • Ensure operations are always carried out in compliance with relevant Contractors’ or Company’s HSE systems as defined in the campaign HSE bridging documents and approved Safety Case
  • Ensure that all Company Operational Excellence applicable processes are followed
  • Support the HSE Team in Contractor HSE documentation reviews, Safety Case Revision review, compliance and verification
  • Verification activities in support of Company’s Well Safe Vessel Certification Assurance program which focuses on Well Control Equipment, Well Control related procedures and crew competence in Well Control
  • Complete Company’s Well Safe Assurance requirements
  • Conduct Well Control Drills in accordance with Chevron’s Well Safe Assurance requirements
  • Ensure adherence to Well Control Bridging document
  • Manage SIMOPS
  • Support daily operations reporting in Company’s System of record WellView

What you need to bring:

  • Ideally suitable candidates will possess previous Subsea Operations experience for both RLWI and IRS systems, with a focus on Subsea controls, ROV Operations and Subsea equipment interfaces
  • Demonstrate leadership in the use of Title Holder’s expectations on “Stat Work Checks”, “Safe Your Life Actions”, Stop Work Authority, etc
  • Demonstrate visible Leadership in Contractors HSE processes, such as JSA and Risk Assessment
  • Ensure Environmental Stewardship expectations are met
  • WCF/IADC Subsea Supervisor Well Control Certification is required
  • Post operations, the role will return to Perth’s Corporate office to assist the Engineering Team with campaign wrap up and materials demobilisation
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate an unwavering commitment to their role in ensuring Safe Operations
  • On acceptance the successful candidate will commence a 2:2 roster rotation as either a Night or Day Subsea Well Representative reporting to the Lead Drill Site Manager
