About this role: Subsea Well Intervention Engineer

Our Operator Client are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contract SSWI (Subsea Well Intervention) Engineer in support of their GS2 De-suspension Campaign. The role will commence immediately for a 6-month month contract based out of the Perth office.Our ideal candidate would have both SSWI Planning and Operations Experience for both RLWI and IRS systems.
The assignment will be based in Perth, reporting to the Offshore Engineering Team Lead, assisting the Wells Engineering and HSE Teams in the planning and preparing for a GS2 De-suspension campaign.Duties in the office will include but are not limited to:
Perform well planning and design work for a well intervention project and ensuring compliance with the Technical standards. Participates in risk analysis of subsea systems and procedures. Participate in Peer Reviews and IWOPs. Works with other departments in developing specific well plans and SIMOPS. Participate in Intervention Vessel and equipment inspections and corrective action follow-up in conjunction with our specialist inspection contractor. Support Intervention Equipment and Controls System Integrity tests. Works with Vessel Authority in completing Intervention Vessel assurance processes. Verification activities in support of the WellSafe Vessel Certification Assurance program which focuses on Well Control Equipment, Well Control related procedures and crew competence in Well Control. Complete the WellSafe Assurance requirements.
Support the HSE Team in HSE Bridging documentation, Contractor HSE documentation reviews, Safety Case Revision review, compliance, and verification.

What you need to bring:

IWCF/IADC Subsea Supervisor Well Control Certification is required.

  • Open to Level IV or V candidates
  • 3 to 6 months contract, Perth based
  • 9 hour day CWW
