About this role: Project Sales Lead

Brunel is currently searching for a Project Sales Lead for direct hire with our client in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Brand new opportunity to join a growing team. You will be responsible for leading projects and developing sales to already prospected customers within the automotive tier supplier industry. Someone else was the hunter, you will be the middle person that puts together the quotes, negotiates contracts, and helps close the deal.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Defining pricing strategy with new business and current customer
  • Analyze current or prospective customer product portfolio and identify new sales leads within project
  • Set-up strategic sales plans in conjunction with Sales Manager
  • Act as central point of contact for new customer during analysis phase until closed project won phase
  • Analyze Request for Quotation (RFQ) from customer
  • Start-up RFQ with supply base
  • Prepare and present offer to the customer
  • Revise and negotiate customer contracts
  • Manage the collaboration of all technical, commercial, quality, and logistics aspects with respective department managers
  • Support the W12-130 BD Process during analysis phase
  • Responsible for status reports, continuous improvement opportunities, identifying project challenges
  • Support the regional team to reach targets and goals

What you need to bring:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Economics, Sales, etc., or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the automotive tier supplier industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Sales or Project Management function within a sales team
  • Understanding of RFQ process
  • Knowledge of automotive quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001)
  • Knowledge of the automotive tier supplier process is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • Fluent in MS Office required, experience with an ERP package is a plus
  • Team player, sense of urgency, positive attitude, change management, independent worker
  • MUST be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer


This role will be a hybrid schedule with flexibility to work 50% from home, 50% in office. Travel up to 20% for short business trips which could be domestic or international.

Our client offers a starting salary from $80-95K based on experience, medical, dental, vision, 401K match, paid holidays, paid time off. Growth opportunities within for this growing international client.
