Introduction

We are currently seeking a Project Planner to work for our Tier 1 mining client based in the Perth CBD. As a Planner, you will provide planning support across multiple. You will be responsible for tracking the teams master schedule that includes project delivery schedule as well as supporting commercial and cost control. This is a Mon-Fri role on a 40 hour week. This contract is a 12 month contract.

About this role

  • Establish and manage a comprehensive schedule encompassing all projects within the portfolio.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of both the assigned portfolio and individual studies/projects.
  • Enforce adherence to planning and scheduling guidelines among project owners.
  • Aid in the development, upkeep, and reporting of project plans and schedules.
  • Evaluate each study phase, identifying and assessing potential schedule risks that may impede project delivery, and propose preventive solutions.
  • Actively participate in project schedule review meetings and keep schedules up-to-date.
  • Contribute to the preservation of the coherence and accuracy of integrated project schedules.

What you need to bring:

  • A strong commitment to personal safety and safety of the team
  • Mine site construction experience
  • Experience of using Primavera P6
  • Prior experience in scheduling or planning maintenance activities
  • Candidates with professional Project Management qualifications will have a distinct advantage
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
  • Over 5 years project controls experience is desirable for this role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • You must be currently based in Australia and have current unrestricted right to work in Australia already granted to be considered for this role
