Introduction

Our client, a respected Tier 3 commercial builder is looking to bring aboard a Brisbane based Project Manager to work remotely on a range of regional projects across Harvey Bay and Rockhampton. They are a close knit team with an exciting range of New Build and Fit-Out education, office, healthcare, retail, hospitality and community projects in the pipeline for 2024 and beyond. Values ranged up to $20m.

This role has arose due to an influx of New Build regional projects mainly within the retail sector.

This role will be Brisbane based but will require working from site as directed by yourself. Travel expenses are covered including accommodation.

  • $180k - $200k p/a dependent on experience.
  • Joining an established builder with operations in Sydney, Brisbane and Victoria and a strong project pipeline with values ranging from $5m - $20m.
  • Emphasis on career development with progression plans put in place from day one.
  • Stability - no debt and an impressive order book for the next 2 years.

About this role

Responsibilites

Working as a Project Manager, you will take a leading role working on several projects from concept design and development stages, right through to construction and completion.

The client are looking for an experienced PM that can be trusted to manage the regional work autonomously including directing how much time you spend on site in order to successfully complete the works.

What you need to bring:

  • 3 + years of construction Project Management experience.
  • Exposure to commercial projects, ideally with a value of $10M+.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related degree.
  • The ability to manage and mentor in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Excels at organisation, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
  • A good understanding of Occupational Safety & Health requirements with a proactive approach to safety.
