Our client is an EPC established in Australia. They have attracted some of the industries brightest minds to join the team. They have recently engaged us to help recruit a Project Manager who will be responsible for the complete management and delivery of a portfolio of projects from 500 kW to several MW, acrossmultiple sites, to relevant Australian standards and guidelines. Their projects are expected to be completed on time and within budget.

In this role, you will be:

  • Creating, reviewing and signing off site plans, SLDs andmonitoring schematics
  • Completing applications for connection to the grid, structuralassessments and local council requirements
  • Overseeing all project HSE requirements
  • Managing project engineers and subcontractors, performing various tasks including design work, installation, electrical work, lifting, commissioning and monitoring of PV systems.
  • Managing client expectations and maintaining transparent lines of communication with all relevant stakeholders
  • Procuring management of stock across a range of suppliers
  • Managing logistics and coordination

What you need to bring:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To have an understanding of the electricity industry and a soundunderstanding of photovoltaic systems
  • To Be CEC accredited for design of grid connected systems
  • Experience in Project Management of projects from 100kW upwards, including management of MW projects
  • Experience with both rooftop and ground mount systems
  • To be an independent thinker, with an ability to identify proceduraland technical issues and suggest workable solutions
  • Be organised and able to work on multiple projects at one time
  • To be able to maintain excellent internal and external working relationships, including those with clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills over both email and phone
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite
