About this role: Laboratory Manager
Our client, a High-Profile Global Organization within the Energy Sector, has an exciting contract opportunity for a highly skilled Laboratory Manager -Group Technology to work within one of their Project Teams
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Permanent
Contract Type: Onshore/Offshore
Contract Location: Monaco
Responsibilities Include:
- To manage the site and all activities of the companies R&D Laboratory in an efficient, timely, and safe manner in accordance with French legislation;
- Organize the activities of contractors and sub-contractors inside the buildings;
- Provide technical and scientific expertise for Laboratory test benches and staff (set up, running and reporting);
- Provide vision and route maps for the future of the LAB in accordance with the companies group strategy;
- In charge of performing routine personnel tasks, including regular performance appraisals, and training plans;
- Organize visits from Clients and Authorities.
What you need to bring:
What we are Looking for:
- University degree in a relevant discipline;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Offshore Energy or related industry;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing teams of engineers and technicians;
- Experience in managing Laboratory/R&D facilities is a pre;
- Excellent written and spoken English.
