About this role: Area Inspector - Utilities (FIFO)

On behalf of our client, a High Profile Global Oil & Gas Energy Group, Brunel is presently sourcing a highly skilled Area Inspector - Utilities (FIFO), 2 : 2 roster for a 12 month contract with a possible view to extend.

  • Coordinate manning and equipment resources, both core and ad hoc inspection tasks for the Facility to ensure they are delivered as per the committed work schedule, along with value to the business
  • Close liaison with Perth based Inspection & Integrity Engineers to mitigate any complications with inspection requests / scopes and deliver quality inspection / testing results / reports
  • Integrate the Inspection Team tasks with the Maintenance and Frontline work groups to maximise efficiency
  • Mentor inspection teams work and safety behaviours to execute the tasks with excellence and align with the Company’s Values
  • Oversee technical repairs to on-site pressure equipment and provide focal point to Perth SMEs
  • Research and apply suitable new inspection and testing methods to enable work to be carried out safer and higher quality (eg NDE, RVI, Photogrammetry

What you need to bring:

  • Interested candidates will possess extensive Inspection Engineering experience OR Senior AICIP / API Inspector experience
  • Previous Oil & Gas industry exposure
  • Self-motivated, organised and high attention to details
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Company’s level of commitment to Health, Safety & Environment
