Introduction
On behalf of our client, a leading Energy Resources Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Finance Analyst for a 6 month parental cover contract located in the Perth CBD.
What are you going to do
- Assist with budgeting and reforecasting process for Australian Operations
- Calculate and post asset-specific month-end journals
- Act as the primary contact for Operated Asset queries from internal stakeholders
- Provide accurate cost coding and support effective cost allocation
- Drive cost optimisation with Operations and Offshore Teams
- Prepare monthly management reports (MMR) with detailed commentary
- Assist with G&A monthly analysis and WP&B
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations per the risk matrix
- Produce annual reporting packs, financial statements and half-year schedules
- Update internal management reporting packs and forecasting materials
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field
- CPA/CA qualified (or equivalent)
- Oil & Gas industry sector experience is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and influence without authority
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP experience
- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and a positive, 'can-do' attitude
