Electrical Engineer 5 (Substation Design)

We’re hiring Electrical Engineer (Substation Design) for one of our Leading MNC in Infrastructure to join their growing team. This position is based out in Chennai/Bangalore/Pune.

• Position: Electrical Engineer (Substation Design);
• YOE: 10 to15 Years;
• Contract: Permanent;
• Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Pune;
• Senior level having full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, budgeting and coordinating complex assignments;
• Plans and develops projects concerned with unique or controversial problems;
• Maintains liaison with individuals and units within or outside organization with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to specialty field;
• Supervision provided on essentially all administrative issues, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits;
• Acting as a mentor for Mid-level Engineers;
• Actively participating or assisting in new business development by contributing to strategic planning, marketing, and business operations planning;
• Planning, developing, coordinating, and directing a large and important project or several small projects with many complex features;
• Refining your project management skills Coordinating and reviewing the work of a small staff of engineers (typically 5 to 10);
• Visualizes and assumes responsibility for new business development activities within areas of expertise;
• Requires the ability and expertise to use advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of Electrical design resulting from progressive experience.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering;
• 10- 15 minimum years of experience in detailed design for high voltage substation projects through 345kV;
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70);
• Experience in designing electrical systems for water/wastewater and other industrial/ facilities (building) projects;
• Professional Engineering certification from accredited agencies is preferred;
• Experience with reviewing the drawings/ models developed using Revit.
