Brunel International is seeking an experienced Shotcrete Supervisor to join our team in New Ireland Province, Papua New Guinea.

This is a FIFO position and the Shotcrete Supervisor is responsible for batching of the shotcrete/concrete as required, compliance with all QA/QC requirements and maintenance of stock levels. This role requires the demonstration of strong people skills to supervise and effectively lead a team and to demonstrate teaching capabilities.

About this role

  • Supervision and execution of shotcreting, guidance and supervision of a team and reporting
  • QA/QC Control with excellent management skills in construction
  • Experience in provision of technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience using shotcrete machines
  • Extensive commitment and understanding to all matters relating to health, safety and environment
  • Attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines
  • First Aid qualification preferred
  • Able to commit to working away from home on a roster basis


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, certificates, licences within the industry
  • At least 5 - 8 years’ experience in shotcrete/concrete batching
  • Knowledge of relevant safety protocols and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders
