Introduction

We are currently hiring an Early Talent Recruiter for our client, a global pharmaceutical company and one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. The company is known for its global contribution in areas including pharmaceuticals and consumer healthcare products. Our client offers the broadest range of vaccines in the world, providing protection against a wide array of bacterial and viral diseases.

The Early Talent Recruiter will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruiting process and strategies for Early talent & leadership development program for client groups spanning across Canada. This position will report to Global Program Manager, IRDP.

Responsibilities

  • End to end recruitment activities – sourcing profiles (resume book, E-Taleo, LinkedIn etc.), conducting 1st level phone screening
  • Coordinating with hiring managers and candidates in scheduling the interviews
  • Maintaining recruitment tracker, following up with hiring managers on the interview feedback, candidate interactions
  • Email communication with hiring managers, candidates, and MBA colleges
  • Coordinating with UG/Master’s colleges across Canada & global colleges, if need be, in posting the positions online, collecting the CV books from the career offices and interview coordination with candidates, conducting student engagement activities with them
  • This position is responsible for driving compliance in the talent acquisition process across all stakeholder groups - hiring managers, recruiters, HR, candidates, and the Talent Acquisition Group
  • Consult and build solid relationships with stakeholders in creating, developing sourcing and interviewing strategies and implementing agreed action plans
  • Build effective recruitment strategies to ensure strong pipelines for all business areas
  • Play a key role as the subject matter expert on Taleo, including managing data integrity
  • Contribute to development of and implement agreed sourcing & recruiting strategy to achieve success in recruiting which may include supporting other markets and recruiters when required
  • Ensure that the recruitment process flow complies with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) keeping in mind to keep the process moving forward
  • Provide company information to candidates and appropriately "sell" candidates on the value proposition of the culture
  • Ensure that the process and the final hiring decision are effectively managed on time
  • Gather/compile/support/supply regular metrics for HR-related activities

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education is required
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Early talent recruitment/ Talent Acquisition is required ideally in an onsite environment
  • Strong sourcing and end to end recruitment process experience is a must
  • Must have a demonstrated capability in recruiting for wide variety of levels and positions in multiple functional disciplines
  • Early talent recruitment experience in Canadian market is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills is required
  • Must have the experience and ability to have discussions with Senior management and stakeholders
  • Good knowledge & hands-on experience in Microsoft excel
  • Attention to detail and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information when needed
  • Must have proven knowledge and experience in HR recruiting processes and practices (i.e., interviewing skills, sourcing strategies, E-Taleo or any other recruiting tools etc.)
  • Must have strong account management skills
  • Strong customer and marketplace focus; negotiation and influencing skills; project management, and time management are needed
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluency in French is desired
  • Experience with Taleo other similar Applicant Tracking System is an asset
  • Experience in direct candidate sourcing through creative mediums like student clubs, targeted websites, and direct sourcing is a plus
