About this role: HME Short-term Planner (FIFO)

On behalf of our client, a High Profile Mining Group, Brunel is urgently seeking an experienced HME (Heavy Mobile Equipment) Short-Term Planner for a 6 month contract, FIFO from Perth 5:2 / 4:3 roster.

  • Identify the requirement for maintenance through assigned maintenance tactics, observations, inspections, failures
  • Develop Short-term Plan to ensure maintenance work task execution can be performed safely, efficiently, and effectively and in support of maintenance tactics
  • Planned vs Actual reconciliation of maintenance budget
  • Work orders for accountable area are prioritised, fully planned with all resources materials and specialised tooling identified with assignment of appropriate status
  • Monthly cost performance reporting
  • Initial alignment of Work to achieve primary call compliance


  • Experience in mobile maintenance planning / scheduling within the Mining industry
  • SAP - Maintenance modules
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Intermediate / Advanced use of MS Office Suite (Excel / Project / Outlook)
