Introduction

Brunel is currently searching for a Contracts Administrator for a long-term contract position with our client located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Must be local.

What are you going to do 

The hired candidate will focus on the administration of contracts for assigned projects from conception through execution and completion. Responsible for assisting with post contract administration of contract matters as assigned. Reports operationally to the Manager Staffing Contracts and the Director Project Support Services .

Essential Functions:

  • Receives and reviews a wide variety of contract requests, may support one or more specialized areas requiring an increased depth of knowledge.
  • Responsible for the timeous and accurate issuing of Service Orders against appropriate project cost codes
  • Identifies process and /or supplier performance issues and works with multiple parties (internal and external) to resolve issues.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED and five (5) years' experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering and three (3) years' experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of commercial contracts management
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers in a business environment: MS Word, Excel, Outlook is essential

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with contract administration of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Prior Owners' team experience preferred
  • Working as a team member (Client, EPCM & Contractors)
