About this role: Contract Administrator

Brunel is an industry leader when it comes to delivering successful results for our client base across the Construction, Rail, Infrastructure, Mining and Oil & Gas industries.

Our client is an international Rail company, which is in the enviable position of working on the Cross River Rail project. They are now seeking an experienced QS / CA to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Project Director with regard to Job Costing and progress. • Monthly Processing, Review and Monitoring of all project costs, Estimated Costs To Complete (ETCs), project risks, project schedules• Ensure all costs are captured and allocated correctly against projects; • Ongoing Monitoring / Preparation of progress claims, including invoicing
• Monitoring cash flows' ins and outs for individual projects • Assist Project Planners with resource planning reports; • Preparing month Project Performance Report (PPR) • Calculating and analysis of WIP costs and Accrued Revenue for projects.
• Preparation of monthly forecasts • Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Project Director


Key Requirements:

• 4 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on Construction / Rail Projects• A relevant industry chartership, MRICS, MAIQS (ideal but not essential depending upon experience)• Exposure to working on large scale infrastructure projects, contractor side• Solid understanding of large scale Mining or Infrastructure Projects
• Strong pre-and post-contract knowledge• Exposure to working on large scale claims• Strong cost and measurement abilities• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
