As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for liaising with a range of stakeholders including clients, council, inspectors, superintendents, designers, and the general public. You'll be attending site meetings, assisting in the planning and implementation of project schedules and site activities, and measuring and reporting on the productivity of various site activities. You'll also be keeping the daily program up to date with internal and external plant and labour across allocated sites.But that's not all! You'll also be actively involved in workplace health and safety, conducting site audits, facilitating hazard identification and risk assessment, and ensuring all workers are signed onto SWMS at induction. And if that's not enough, you'll also be inspecting works to ensure they're constructed in accordance with the engineering designs, contract specifications, and authority requirements.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, demonstrated knowledge of the civil construction industry ideally in earthworths; excellent attention to detail, planning and organisational skills, and the ability to read construction drawings.
