Assistant Geologist

Brunel is working with a major EPC company, looking to hire an Assistant Geologist to do both field work and support business from their Kansas City, MO office for a 6-month assignment within the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities include environmental site assessments, development of soil and groundwater sampling plans, data analysis, site remediation, proposal and report writing, project management as well as client maintenance, as well as other duties as assigned by manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Environmental Science.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Previous experience, including hazardous site assessment experience and remediation is also preferred.

• OSHA training and knowledge of CERCLA and remedial design is preferred.
