Seeking a Well Intervention Engineer to safely and efficiently support the operation of well intervention rigs

Brunel Australasia are currently partnering with one of worlds premier petroleum and petrochemical companies. They have a great reputation for creating a safety-focused culture.

The key requirements of the Well Interventions / P&A Wells Engineer role is to ensure the operations are planned to conform to the standards and local regulatory statutes protecting the safety of the personnel, environment, and local/national community.

While doing so the Well Engineer must be able to independently develop the plans in an integrated, collaborative, and efficient manner to allow for a timely and cost-effective execution of the operations.

To thrive, the Well Interventions / P&A Well Engineers must collaborate across the Wells Performance and Planning and Drilling Teams, in addition to the critical stakeholders across the Asset Operations Production and WRFM Teams, the Developments Projects, Integrity, Subsurface, and Production Technology Teams, Contract and Procurement and HSSE department too.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree
  • Extensive relevant Wells experience
  • IWCF
  • Strong understanding of the Well Delivery Process
  • Working knowledge of workover rig and coiled tubing operations
  • An understanding of EDM well engineering packages
  • Proven background in project management
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and interfacing skills
