Our client is a leading player in the mining industry, committed to excellence, safety, and sustainable practices. As our client continues to expand their operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and certified trainer to join our team and contribute to the development of the workforce.

About this role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for mobile equipment operators, focusing on safety, efficiency, and best practices.• Conduct hands-on training sessions and assessments for operators to ensure competency in operating a variety of mobile equipment, including but not limited to haul trucks, excavators, and dozers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and tailor programs to address specific requirements and challenges.• Maintain training records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in mobile equipment technology to continuously enhance training materials and methodologies.

Requirements

• Certified trainer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mining industry, specializing in mobile equipment operations.• In-depth knowledge of mobile equipment functionality, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs, with a focus on hands-on learning and practical application.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
• Familiarity with PNG mining regulations and compliance standards preferred.
