About this role: Technical Product Manager
Brunel are looking to identify a bachelor's degree educated Technical Product Manager with strong experience in Technical Product Management, preferably in the Energy or Automotive Industry, as well as knowledge of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure, Technlogies, and market trends. This 12-month contract (with the possibility of renewal) is to work for a prestigious, global company renowned in the Oil, Gas and Renewables sectors. In regard to work location for this position, you can be based out of either their Amsterdam or Den Haag, Nederland offices.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure
smooth expansion planning, installation, and commissioning of the Shell
Recharge charger infrastructure out-of-home across The Netherlands;
- Manage
the contract and relationship with our Charge Point Operators (CPOs),
developing their capabilities, involvement, and tracking their performance on
our agreements;
- Manage
the relationship with our Charge Card Provider (MSP) Shell Recharge Solutions,
providing input for App developments and supporting the development and
piloting of new functionalities and services (e.g., loyalty, payment options,
interface improvements, and pricing experiments);
- Act
as the charging eco-system expert and interface with local BD, Digital
Marketing, Forecourt Marketing, Territory Management, Engineering, and Pricing
teams to bring new insights about technical network developments and lead the
development of robust solutions for issues and new requirements that may arise
in tenders, marketing teams, or legislation;
- Lead
transition/transformation projects and extend scope or projects to other
countries within our organization (Belgium, Luxemburg, and France) as needed;
- Collaborate
with technical experts in Shell Recharge Solutions (Amsterdam) and hardware
testing labs and engineers in Hamburg and the US to support business needs.
Requirements
Requirements:
- - Strong experience in technical product management, preferably in the energy or automotive industry;
- - Knowledge of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, technologies, and market trends;
- - Ability to work with partners and suppliers to develop optimal solutions for hardware capabilities, load management, solar and battery integration, and energy optimization;
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders;
- - Proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle changing responsibilities;
- - Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure smooth execution of projects;
- - Familiarity with local regulations and legislation related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure in The Netherlands and other countries in the region;
- - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study.
